The client, Man and Machine, required security shutters for their windows and entrance door, to ensure the security of the business out of hours.

All of the shutters were required to be grouped so they could be activated together with one operation.

The Solution

The E37.

Our E37 Aluminium Security Shutter made from an strong extruded double skinned aluminium slat, providing just the right amount of deterrent and protection.

With a narrow 37mm slat it is capable of rolling tightly with a 2m high shutter capable of rolling into a 180mm box. It is widely used for domestic and light commercial applications for securing windows and doors up to 4m wide. It is very popular with schools, offices and modular building companies.

The E37 comes with numerous control options including, as used in this instance, group control options.

E37 Security Shutter

The E37 security shutter provides a medium security solution for domestic and commercial applications spanning openings up to 4m wide and 9m². The compact aluminium profile enables the shutter to roll very tightly into a box which is typically between 150mm and 205mm high.

Each 37.5mm slat is made from double-skinned extruded aluminium and the solid profiles on the E37 can be used in conjunction with the punched (V37) or perforated (P37) slats to form a composite security shutter, offering increased airflow and visibility.

The E37 is typically electrically operated via a hard wired switch or remote control with appropriate safety features. Manual operation is available as required.
