Job Title: B2B Trade Marketing Assistant

Location: Oswestry, Shropshire

We are committed to excellence and innovation, and we are looking for a motivated B2B Trade Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support our marketing efforts and drive our brand’s growth in the B2B market.

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive B2B Trade Marketing Assistant to support our trade marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies aimed at our business clients. You will work closely with the trade marketing team to create compelling campaigns, manage trade events, and support various marketing activities that enhance our B2B presence.

Key Responsibilities:

· Campaign Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of B2B marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, digital, and print.

· Content Creation: Develop and coordinate the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, case studies, presentations, and digital content tailored for B2B audiences.

· Trade Events: Support the organization and execution of trade shows, exhibitions, and other industry events, including logistical arrangements and on-site support.

· Market Research: Conduct research to gather insights on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform marketing strategies.

· Partner Collaboration: Work closely with sales and product teams to ensure marketing activities are aligned with business goals and partner requirements.

· Data Analysis: Track and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation.

· Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative support to the trade marketing team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining databases, and handling correspondence.

· Brand Consistency: Ensure all marketing materials and communications adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent brand voice.

Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, would be beneficial, but not a pre requisite.

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on B2B trade marketing preferred.

Skills:

o Strong written and verbal communication skills.

o Previous content creation experience.

o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

o Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.

o Excellent organisational and project management skills.

o Ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights.

o Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Tech Savvy: Comfortable using digital marketing tools and platforms.

· Experience in organising and managing trade shows or industry events.

· Knowledge of B2B marketing strategies and best practices.

· Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).

· Experience with email marketing platforms and analytics tools.

Working Arrangements

· Office based in Oswestry, Shropshire

· This role could be full time or part time dependent on experience.

· Hours would be Monday-Friday 9am-5pm or pro rata based (for part time), with occasional off-site work and some weekends and international travel as the role requires.
