M511 Security Shutter
The M511 provides security, insulation and sound proofing for domestic and light commercial applications up to 5m wide and 12m². The compact insulated aluminium profile enables the shutter to roll very tightly into a box which is typically between 205mm & 250mm high.
Each 55mm slat is made from double skinned aluminium with a polyurethane insulated core, and is available vented with light slots or unvented.
The M511 is typically electrically operated via a hard wired switch or remote control with appropriate safety features. Manual operation is available as required.
White, anthracite and black are standard but other colours are available on request (subject to extended lead times & minimum quantities).

Ideal for domestic patio doors or commercial office applications up to 5m wide or 12m². In addition to its security function, the M511 shutter provides insulation in conjunction with a window or door system. Vented light slots are optional and can assist as a window shading system with airflow.

Extruded 66mm deep aluminium guide channels and bottom slat with brush and rubber weather seals.
Electric: Somfy tubular motor as standard. Safety brake as appropriate to comply with legislation.
Manual override facility & crank handle as required (surcharge applies).
All motors have numerous control option variants. Rocker switch supplied as standard with options for key switch, remote, group or mobile phone activation.
Manual: Manual operation is available but not common as the shutter tends to be used to cover large openings.
